Germany visit has been productive, says PM as he leaves for Copenhagen

Berlin/New Delhi, May 3 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said his Germany visit has been a productive one, and the talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz were extensive, as he left for Copenhagen on the second leg of his three-nation tour. In a tweet, the PM thanked the German Government for their hospitality. “My Germany visit has been a productive one. The talks with @Bundeskanzler Scholz were extensive and so were the Inter-Governmental Consultations. “I got a great opportunity to interact with business and Indian community leaders. I thank the German Government for their hospitality.” PM Narendra Modi later left for Denmark, on his first visit to the Nordic nation. He will hold talks with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen to take forward the unique bilateral Green Strategic Partnership. The meeting between PM Modi and his Danish counterpart will be the third summit level interaction between them. The Danish leader had visited India last year for summit level talks on the Green Strategic Partnership. The discussions between the two leaders are to focus on bilateral issues, as well as issues of regional and global interest. The two PMs are to also interact with business leaders of both countries under the auspices of the India-Denmark Business Forum. PM Modi would also call on Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, who will also host an official dinner for the Prime Minister. Later, the Prime Minister will interact with the members of the Indian diaspora during a community event.
