Pakistan reports 592 Covid cases, 7 deaths

Islamabad, July 20 (UNI/Xinhua) Pakistan reported 592 new Covid-19 cases and seven more deaths during the last 24 hours, the country’s ministry of health said on Wednesday.
The tally of infected people increased to 1,547,795 with the new cases, according to the data released by the ministry.

According to the ministry’s statistics, 30,452 people died from COVID-19 in Pakistan, with seven more deaths recorded on Tuesday.

On Tuesday, 21,264 tests for COVID-19 were conducted in Pakistan while the positivity rate stood at 2.78 percent.

Currently, there are 174 active cases who are in critical condition in the South Asian country.
