Srinagar, Sep 18 (UNI) In a major relief for artisans associated with Handicrafts and Handlooms Jammu and Kashmir Union Territory (UT), Lt Governor Manoj Sinha announced 100 per cent increase in the Credit Card (CC) limited.
Talking to reporters here on Saturday, Mr Sinha said keeping in view the setback suffered by handicraft and handloom due to COVID-19 and other reasons, the government has decided to increase the CC limit from Rs one lakh at present to Rs two lakhs.
He said only 7 per cent interest will be charged from the artisans.
