Mumbai, Sep 25 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Friday recovered by 417 pts at 36,970.63 in opening trade, as fresh buying was seen across the board.
The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too rose by 134.20 pts to 10,939.75.
The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 37,027.99 and 36,822.04 pts respectively.
The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 10,945.80 and 10,881.55 respectively.
The Mid Cap moved up by 1.26 pc and Small Cap by 1.39 pc.
In 30 scrips, 28 advanced while 2 declined.
The gainers were TCS by 3.79 pc to Rs 2419.80, HCL Technologies by 2.71 pc to Rs 809.40, M& M by 2.41 pc to Rs 587.55, IndusInd Bank by 2.40 pc to Rs 501.95 and Maruti Suzuki by 2.02 pc to Rs 6423.
The losers were Kotak Bank by 0.50 pc to Rs 1239.70 and Titan by 0.70 pc to Rs 1088.10.
