Delhi registers record single-day spike of 6,842 new Covid cases

New Delhi, Nov 4 (UNI) National capital on Wednesday recorded highest single-day spike of 6,842 fresh COVID-19 infections, pushing the caseload to 409,938, so far. Meanwhile, 51 fresh fatalities took the total deaths to 6,703.

Active cases in the city has also increased by 994 since Tuesday and the figure now stands at 37,369. On a positive note, 5,797 patients cured during the past 24 hours, taking the total COVID survivors in the city to 365,866, so far.

Patients curently under home isolation are 22,248, while the containment zones as on date are 3,596.
