Unnao, Oct 26 (UNI) BJP MP Sakshi Maharaj, who is often the center of controversies with his statements, on Monday here said that the graveyards and crematoriums should be according to the population ratio.
Addressing the workers at a ‘nukkad sabha’ organised at the Fatehpur Chaurasi block area in support of party candidate Srikant Katiyar in the Bangarmau Assembly polls, Sakshi Maharaj said, “If there is even one Muslim in a village, the graveyard is very big. At the same time, you cremate on the side of a farm or on the banks of the Ganges. Is this not gross injustice? “
When the people present in the ‘nukkad sabha’ spoke of compulsion, MP Sakshi Maharaj said, “Compulsion is nothing, let us not be tested for our patience, decency.”
