COVID: J&K reports 635 new cases, seven deaths

Jammu, Oct 10 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday informed that 635 new positive cases of novel Coronavirus (235 from Jammu division and 400 from Kashmir division), have been reported thus taking the total number of positive cases in Jammu and Kashmir to 83064.
Also 07 COVID-19 deaths have been reported; 03 from Jammu division and 04 from Kashmir Division.
Moreover, 976 more COVID-19 patients have recovered and discharged from various hospitals including 509 from Jammu Division and 467 from Kashmir Division.
According to the daily Media Bulletin on novel Coronavirus (Covid-19), out of 83064 positive cases, 10796 are Active Positive, 70955 have recovered and 1313 have died; 424 in Jammu division and 889 in Kashmir division.
The Bulletin further said that out of 1818753 test results available, 1735689 samples have been tested as negative till October 10.
Till date 611888 persons have been enlisted for observation which included 25347 persons in home quarantine including facilities operated by government, 10796 in isolation and 48356 in home surveillance. Besides, 526076 persons have completed their surveillance period.
