Delhi CM commends LNJP Hospital in fight against COVID

New Delhi, Oct 4 (UNI) Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday commended the efforts of doctors and the entire staff of the Lok Nayak Jai Prakash (LNJP) hospital in the national capital in their fight against COVID 19, as it is the government hospital, from where the maximum number of COVID patients have been discharged across the country, since March.
Appreciating the staff of LNJP, Mr Kejriwal further said that they have risked their lives to serve the people.
Taking to micro-blogging site Twitter, the Delhi Chief Minister, sharing a news agency report, posted, ‘Proud of our Doctors, nurses and the entire staff of LNJP hospital. They risked their own lives to serve the people.’
LNJP has been one of the most important government hospitals in the national capital, since the initial phase of the pandemic, for treating and catering to COVID-19 patients.
Initially, it used to have the maximum number of COVID patients admitted at one time across the city. The hospital has continuously improvised itself, to provide for the requirement, as the number of cases increased in the city.
In another tweet, Mr Kejriwal commended the children of the city, who were contributing in the fight against dengue.
He appreciated the efforts of an eighth class student named Yuvraj and other children, who checked their houses for stagnant water and changed the same accordingly.
‘I pray to the almighty that our children remain safe from Dengue, they stay healthy and achieve a lot of success,’ the Delhi CM tweeted.
