One nation one ration card provides food security to poor families: Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti

Dharamsala, June 12 : Union Minister Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti on Sunday said that the beneficiaries of the National Food Security Scheme can get their share of ration in any region of the country, for this the Government of India has started the One Nation One Ration Card scheme.
The Minister said that under One Nation One Ration Card scheme , the ration card of the beneficiary would be registered in the central database and linked to the Aadhaar number. She said that the poor and poor families have got food security through this scheme.
The minister for food, civil supplies and consumer affairs inspected the cheap ration shop under the Public Distribution System at Malan in Nagrota and distributed the kits to the beneficiaries under the Public Distribution System.

Earlier, Amrit Sarovar was also inaugurated in Ghodav of Nagrota.
The Union Minister of State said that in view of the better results of the AMRUT scheme, AMRUT II scheme has been launched, ninety percent of the amount is being borne by the Central Government and ten percent by the State Government under the scheme. The main objective of this scheme will be to strengthen drinking water supply by the year -2025-26, to provide 24 hours water supply and better management of water sources and reservoirs, along with development of green areas is being done.
She said that water sources in all local bodies are being renovated under the AMRUT scheme. An amount of Rs 252 crore has been allocated to the state for execution of various works under AMRUT II.
The Union Minister of State said that the Central and State Governments are determined for the all-round development of the state and in this connection directions have also been given to the departmental officers to achieve 100% target under all the schemes so that maximum number of eligible people can be benefited.
Earlier, the Union Minister of State also paid obessance at Chamunda temple and directions were also given to the officials to provide better facilities for the devotees in the temple.
Various dignitaries including MLA Arun Kumar, Director Food Supplies Rajeshwar Goyal, SDM Munish Sharma, BJP District President Chandra Bhushan Nag were present on the occasion.
