Pokhriyal speaks to toppers of JEE

New Delhi, Oct 5 (UNI) Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on Monday congratulated the successful students who passed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced Examination and spoke to the toppers over phone.

Apart from this, he also congratulated the National Testing Agency (NTA) for successfully conducting exams under difficult circumstances of the Coronavirus crisis.

Dr Pokhriyal praised the NTA, saying that the Ministry of Education had decided to conduct the examinations

despite the ongoing Covid crisis and entrusted the responsibility to the NTA. The exam regulator had

performed this responsibility well. Keeping in mind the safety of all students and teachers, arrangements

were made in the examination centres.

The Union Minister congratulated all the students who took and passed the exam. He thanked all the parents

for trusting the government in this difficult time.

Dr Pokhriyal talked to the topper students on the phone himself and wished them all the best for the future.

Appreciating the hard work of the students, he said, “The students kept themselves mentally strong during

this difficult period, which is quite commendable. I congratulate all the students and wish them a better

future.”

Results of JEE Advanced 2020 released on Monday showed Chirag Fallor of IIT Bombay Zone has topped the list while Kanishka Mittal of IIT Roorkee has topped the girls category although placed 17th on the all India

rank.
