Mumbai, Sep 2 (UNI) The Rupee on Wednesday dropped by 23 paise at 73.09 against the US Dollar in opening trade on rising demand for US Dollar by bankers and importers, dealers at the Forex Market said.
The local unit was seen weak owing to strong Dollar against other world currencies amid volatile market in opening trade dealer informed.
The rupee registered intraday high and low at 73.13 and 72.98 respectively, he added.
