Taj Mahal to reopen from Sep 21; 5k tourists to allowed entry per day

Agra, Sep 8 (UNI) After remaining closed for tourists for about six months due to Covid-19, the Taj Mahal will finally reopen on September 21

Only 5,000 people have been permitted for a daily visit to Taj Mahal, and the Agra Fort will allow only 2,500. Covid-19 guidelines including social distancing and face mask would be compulsory for everyone at these two tourist places, Officials here on Tuesday said.

ASI, which control both the monuments, will also promote online purchase of entry tickets in both the sites.
