NEW DELHI, September 29, 2023—Over two dozen frontline leaders and office-bearers of Aam Aadmi Party from North East Delhi, along with a large number of their supporters, under the leadership of Shri Kuldeep Batti,  joined the Congress party in the presence of Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee president Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely at the DPCC office, Rajiv Bhawan today. Present on the occasion were senior leader and ex-MLAs Shri Mukesh Sharma, Shri Bisham Sharma and Shri Vipin Sharma, former Leader of the House in the MCD Shri Jitender Kumar Kochar and former president of Delhi Youth Congress Shri Amit Malik. Shri Arvinder Singh Lovely draped the AAP leaders and office-bearers with party scarfs to welcome them to the Congress fold.

Amritsar, Jan 30 : Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) National Convener Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday said if his party's government is formed in Punjab, the pictures of Dr BR Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh will be installed in all the government offices. New Delhi Chief Minister Kejriwal made this announcement at a press conference here. He said on January 26 he had announced in Delhi that there will be no pictures of chief ministers or other political leaders in Delhi government offices, only pictures of Dr. Ambedkar and Bhagat Singh. The same would be done in Punjab too. On the occasion, Punjab CM face of the party Bhagwant Mann welcomed the announcement.

New Delhi, Oct 19 : Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday urged the workers of the Aam Aadmi Party in Uttarakhand to volunteer for relief work as the hill state continues to be ravaged by heavy rainfall causing landslides and floods. The chief minister, who is also the national convenor of AAP, took to Twitter and prayed for the safety of people trapped amid the natural disaster.

New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) The Delhi High Court on Thursday dismissed the plea alleging hoarding of oxygen cylinders by Food and Supplies Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Imran Hussain after verification of documents. A bench of justices Vipin Sanghi and Rekha Palli dismissed the petition and said that it is not inclined to proceed any further. The court was hearing a plea to stop the alleged 'unauthorised, unlawful, and arbitrary distribution' of oxygen cylinders by Hussain in his constituency Ballimaran.

Chandigarh, Apr 4 (UNI) On eviction of an NGO of ex-servicemen helping the martyred soldiers and the families of soldiers from the office premises of the Sainik Sadan Complex in Mohali, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) took to task Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh. In a statement issued from the party headquarters here on Sunday, AAP state president and MP Bhagwant Mann said Captain Amarinder Singh describes himself as an army soldier, but in reality he is not a real soldier. “Had he been a true soldier, he would have felt the sorrow and pain of the families of the soldiers who were martyred at the border, but he does not have the slightest feeling of their suffering,” he added.

Chandigarh, Mar 19 (UNI) Sighting a recent electoral survey, the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP) on Friday exuded confidence that they would emerge victorious in the 2022 Punjab Vidhan Sabha elections. Alluding to a recent survey conducted by ABP C-voter, AAP Punjab co-incharge Raghav Chadha claimed that the Aam Aadmi Party is the first choice of the people of Punjab. Chadha stated that the people of Punjab see the AAP as the only credible alternative that can bring a real change.
