Srinagar, Jul 28 : Apni Party(AP) president Altaf Bukhari on Wednesday expressed deep shock and grief over the fatalities caused by the cloudburst in Kishtwar and urged party workers to help in relief and rescue operations. In a statement issued here, Bukhari extended solidarity with the bereaved families and prayed for eternal peace to the departed souls.

Srinagar, Jun 12 : Sopore attack by the militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) in which two cops of Jammu and Kashmir police and three civilians were killed and two policemen injured was widely condemned by leaders of different mainstream political parties on Saturday. Those who condemned the attack include former Chief Ministers (CM) Omar Abdullah and Mehbooba Mufti, Apni Party (AP) president Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari, Peoples Conference (PC) chief Sajjad Gani Lone and Communist Party of India (M) leader Mohammad Yousuf Tarigami.

Baramulla, Oct 17 (UNI) Prominent social workers and scores of political activists in this north Kashmir joined Apni Party (AP) on Saturday, a spokesman for the party claimed. He said the new entrants led by Ashiq Hussain from Singhpora block in Pattan constituency were welcomed by Party District President Baramulla Shoaib Lone and district office-bearers of the party. Before the joining ceremony, Ashiq Hussain and his associates raised issues pertaining to the developmental problems in the Singhpora block.
