New Delhi, May 8 (UNI) The first batch of Women Military Police 83 women soldiers was inducted to the Indian Army on Saturday after anattestation parade of the first batch at the Dronacharya Parade Ground at Corps of Military Police Centre and School (CMP C &S) at Bengaluru. The Commandant of the Military Police Centre while reviewing the parade complimented the newly attested women soldiers for their impeccable drill and congratulated them on their successful completion of the intense 61 weeks of training on aspects related to Basic Military training, Provost training to include all forms of policing duties and management of prisoners of war, ceremonial duties and skill development to include driving and maintenance of all vehicles and signal communications.

Jammu, Apr 26 (UNI) Security forces have recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from forest area in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir. Police here said that search operation was launched on specific inputs on Sunday evening in Chatroo forest area by joint teams of police and army. During searches two pistols, ammunition and other war like stores was recovered, they said adding that the Indian Army and J&K Police alongwith other security forces deployed in Kishtwar have successfully recovered IEDs, Explosives, arms and ammunition in recent months to thwart the nefarious designs of terrorists and the their few supporters.

फरीदाबाद :8 फरवरी / भारतीय सेना द्वारा फरीदाबाद के सेञ्चटर-12 स्थित खेल परिसर में आयोजित की जा रही भर्ती के लिए सोमवार को पहले दिन 1100 युवा दौड़ टेस्ट में शामिल हुए। इनमें से 250 युवाओं ने दौड़ टेस्ट पास किया। इस तरह से प्रतिदिन आने वाले युवाओं के लिए पहले दिन दौड़ और उसके बाद हाईट-वजन व अन्य प्रकियाएं पूरी जाएंगी। भर्ती प्रक्रिया 25 फरवरी तक पूर्ण होगी। भर्ती को लेकर सेना के साथ-साथ जिला प्रशासन द्वारा भी सभी आवश्यक सहयोग दिया गया है। भर्ती प्रक्रिया को लेकर सुरक्षा के प्रबंध भी चाक-चौबंद किए गए हैं।
