Arunachal reports 14 new Covid cases

Itanagar, Aug 25 : Arunachal Pradesh on Thursday reported 14 fresh Covid19 cases, taking its tally of confirmed cases to 66,599, a senior health official said. With 25 patients getting recuperated from the disease during the last 24 hours, the total number of recovered cases rose to 66,207.

350 more tests positive for Covid19 in Arunachal

Itanagar, Jan 19 : Arunachal Pradesh’s Covid19 case tally shot up to 57,387 as 350 more persons have tested positive for the infection during the past 24 hours, a senior health official said on Wednesday. Conversely, 129 people were cured of the disease in the period, taking the total number of recovered cases to 55,408, he said. Of the fresh infections, Itanagar Capital Complex accounted for the highest 115 cases, followed by West Kameng (40), Namsai (37), Papum Pare (30), Changlang (27), East Siang and Lohit (18 each), and Lower Dibang Valley (17). Tirap detected eight cases and Tawang six, while five each came from Lower Siang and Lower Subansiri. 187 of the total cases turned out to be asymptomatic and 163 symptomatic, the official said, adding that the day’s positivity rate was recorded at 24.17 per cent, which stood at 21.38 per cent on Tuesday.

Itanagar, Nov 9 : Arunachal Pradesh Health and Family Welfare Minister Alo Libang on Tuesday urged the faith-based leaders and other community influencers of the state to support the state government in accelerating the COVID-19 vaccination in order to achieve 100 percent vaccine coverage.

Arunachal’s COVID-19 tally crosses 55,000-mark

Itanagar, Oct 19 : In a reversal of the last few days COVID scene, Arunachal Pradesh witnessed more single-day infections than the recoveries during the past 24 hours. The state recorded 27 fresh cases in the period that took its tally of confirmed cases past the 55,000-mark, a senior health official said. Namsai district reported the highest 14 cases, while East Siang, Shi-Yomi and West Kameng contracted three cases each.

Arunachal COVID cases cross 53,000-mark

Itanagar, Sep 1 : Arunachal Pradesh has recorded 71 fresh COVID-19 cases on Tuesday that took the state tally of confirmed cases to 53,031. Of the new cases, Leparada reported the highest 12 cases, followed by Itanagar Capital Complex 11, Tawang eight and Lower Dibang Valley seven.

Arunachal logs 443 new Covid cases, three deaths

Itanagar, Jul 28 : Arunachal Pradesh has reported 443 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, taking the state's infection tally to 46,800, while the death toll rose to 221 as three more succumbed from the disease.

No new Covid-19 case reported in Arunachal

Itanagar, Mar 26 (UNI) No new Covid-19 case was reported in Arunachal Pradesh in the last seven days, as per the bulletin issued by the state Directorate of Health Services. According to the bulletin, the recovery tally remained at 16,785 as no patient was discharged. The recovery rate is 99.66 per cent. Arunachal Pradesh has one active case which is from West Kameng. The state has recorded 16,842 Covid cases so far. Death toll at 56.

SIC investigating into compensation of Ph-1 Murkongselek-Pasighat Rly project

Itanagar, Mar 2 (UNI) Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Tuesday informed the Assembly that the Special Investigation Cell (SIC) is probing into the ‘discrepancies’ in payment of superfluous land compensations given against the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) broad gauge project from Murkongselek (Assam’s Jonai) to Pasighat (East Siang in Arunachal).

Itanagar, Jan 20 (UNI) Three more people, including two teachers have tested positive for Covid-19 in Arunachal Pradesh, taking the tally to 16,815.

Itanagar, Dec 26 (UNI) Sixteen more Covid-19 patients were discharged following their recovery from the virus in the past 24 hours in Arunachal Pradesh, taking the total recoveries to 16,454.
