Ranchi, May 7 : For the second consecutive day on Saturday teams of the Enforcement Directorate continued their search against senior IAS officer Puja Singhal and her close associates. As per sources teams of the ED are conducting their search across 11 locations on Saturday. Early morning a team reached at Pulse Hospital located in Bariyatu which is run by her husband Abhishek Jha and inspected some papers. On the other hand the security guards of the hospital were involved in heated arguments with the media persons who had gathered outside the hospital to cover the ED raid. Earlier on Friday the team of the ED had managed to recover Rs 19.31 crore in cash from the house of the CA of Puja Singhal, Suman Singh.

Ranchi, Jul 21 : The weather department has sounded an alert in the state in wake of the likely heavy downpour which has been predicted over the course of the next two days. On Wednesday Afternoon also the state capital and adjoining areas witnessed brisk rainfall while the sky remained under cloud cover. Over the last 24 hours, Rajmahal had received a maximum rainfall of 50.2 mm while Jamshedpur was hottest at 32.2 degrees and Chaibasa was lowest at 22.2 degrees.

Ranchi, Mar 2 (UNI) Former Jharkhand Chief Minister and national vice president of BJP Raghubar Das on Tuesday got injected with Covid-19 vaccine. The former Chief Minister reached the MGM Hospital where he was given the vaccine under the supervision of Dr Nakul Prasad Chowdhary. Nurse cum technician Bindiya Khakha and Laxmi Das administered the first dose of the vaccine to the former Chief Minister.

Ranchi, Dec 31 (UNI) The Coronavirus tally in the state on Thursday reached to 1,15,113 as 240 cases of Covid-19 were detected across 19 districts of Jharkhand. During the day 3 deaths were reported 1 from Ranchi, Bokaro and Khunti districts as a result of which the overall death count has reached to 1030. The mortality rate among the patients currently stands at 0.89 percent.

Ranchi, Nov 26 (UNI) Jailed RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav was on Thursday shifted back to the paying ward of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) here from the Kelly Bungalow.

Ranchi, Oct 27 (UNI) The Coronavirus patients tally in the state on Tuesday crossed one lakh mark as a total of 318 cases of Covid-19 cases were detected across 21 districts of the state with which the overall tally has now increased to 1,00,224.

Ranchi, Oct 3 (UNI) A total of 14 girls, including 8 minors, were rescued by a team of Ranchi RPF while being trafficked to Hyderabad. An FIR in this connection has been registered at Anti Human Trafficking unit at Kotwali Police Station. The RPF officials said that these girls were to be taken to Hyderabad and originally hail from Latehar district.
