Meanwhile, the Apex Court asked the state of Maharashtra and Republic TV to file their respective affidavits detailing all cases the anchor and the channel are sought to be prosecuted in.

ew Delhi, Oct 12 (UNI) A civil suit has been jointly filed by major production houses of the film industry against news channels Republic TV and Times Now, for allegedly defaming the industry through irresponsible reporting and derogatory language.
