Karnataka’s Congress MLA, B Z Zameer Ahmed Khan said on Tuesday he has tested coronavirus positive and as per the advice of the doctors he is getting hospitalised.Khan tweeted that, “I had developed a slight fever and underwent a corona test today, the report has confirmed the infection. On the advice of the doctors I’m getting admitted to hospital”.
He also requested all those who had came in contact with him in the past few days to undergo a Covid-19 test.
A former Minister, Khan represents Chamrajpet assembly constituency in the city, had made multiple visits to areas such as K G Halli and D J Halli that were hit by violence last week.
He had also visited the MLAR Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy, house of Pulakeshinagar which was burnt down by the rioters, along with some Muslim leaders. Khan also met the family members of three persons, who were killed in police firing to subdue the mob that went on a rampage on 11th August night over the inflammatory social media post made by Murthy’s relative.
