Uttarakhand at high alert due to rainfall!!

Heavy rains may occur at some places in nine districts of Uttarakhand today. In view of this, the Meteorological Department has issued a red alert.

According to a bulletin issued by the Meteorological Department, Pithoragarh, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Nainital, Udhamsingh Nagar, Pauri, Tehri, Dehradun and Haridwar districts may receive heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places on Friday.
On this, by issuing advisory to the concerned districts, the administration has been asked to take necessary security measures.

Apart from this, heavy rains have threatened the landslides and increase in the water level of the rivers. Meteorological Center Director Bikram Singh said that heavy rains may occur at most places in the state in the next two days.
