Panaji, Jun 12 (UNI) Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant on Saturday welcomed the decision of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman of reducing taxes on equipment used for Covid 19 relief and management as well as on life saving drugs.

The 44th GST Council on Saturday approved the recommendations made by the national-level Group of Ministers (GoM) regarding waiver or reduction of Goods and Service Tax on medicines, vaccines, equipment, etc, required for treatment of Covid.
