Haldwani, Feb 19(UNI) An earthquake of 4.0 magnitude on the Richter scale struck Pithoragarh district in Uttarakhand on Friday, District Disaster Management Officer Shikha Suyal said.
According to the official, the quake occurred at 16:38:32 IST at a depth of 8 km. No loss of life and property has been reported so far.
