Mumbai, Oct 7 (UNI) The BSE Sensex on Wednesday slipped by 124 pts to 39,450.82 as selling was seen in Materials, Finance, Industrials, IT and Capital Goods stocks.

The Nifty of National Stock Exchange too eased by 33 pts to 11,629.35.
Though the sensex opened higher by 59 pts to 39,633.19 pts it immediately went in red.

Similarly, Nifty too opened higher by 17 pts to 11679.25 later it was dropped.The Sensex registered intra days high and low at 39,633.19 and 39,450.82 pts respectively.

The Nifty registered intra days high and low at 11,679.50 and 11,629.35

respectively.

The Mid Cap fell by 0.35 pc and Small Cap by 0.28 pc.

In 30 scrips, 13 advanced while 17 declined.

The losers were Bajaj Finserv by 2.80 pc to Rs 5823.15, IndusInd Bank by 2.18 pc to Rs 608.85, ICICI Bank by 1.33 pc to Rs 375.40,Kotak Bank by 1.08 pc to Rs 1324 and Axis Bank by 0.88 pc to Rs 445.45.

The gainers were Maruti Suzuki by 1.28 pc to Rs 6978.60, Reliance industries by 1.19 pc to Rs 2236.45, Hind Unilever by 0.95 pc to Rs 2135 and ONGC by 0.94 pc to Rs 70.
