Action on security to Rohan Rai in Disha Salian death case will be taken after inquiry

New Delhi, Sep 30 (UNI) Home Minister Amit Shah has told Maharashtra BJP MLA Nitesh Rane that the question of security to Rohan Rai, an important witness in the Sushant Singh Rajput death investigations, would be given due consideration after inquiry and in accordance wit the findings of the case.

‘I received your letter dated September 16, 2020 in which you have requested security to be given to Mr Rohan Rai. Action will be taken after inquiry and in accordance with the findings of the case,’ the letter by the Home Minister to Mr Rane said.

Mr Rane has said Rohan Rai is an important witness in the mysterious death of Sushant Singh Rajput’s ex-manager Disha Salian and knows many secrets and should, be therefore, given security.

In his letter to the Home Minister on September 16 Mr Rane had said it was surprising that Rohan Rai, Disha Salian’s fiance, had ‘not ever’ been questioned by the Mumbai :Police on what could have led to Disha’s mysterious death on June 8.

Disha, who had returned from a party that night, was found dead lying on the ground of her building. Mumbai Police declared that she had committed suicide.

Rohan Rai is untracable and his whereabouts are not known since then.

While requesting security for Rohan Rai, Mr Rane had said in his letter that Rohan’s statement to the CBI would be ‘critical’ to the ongoing investigation and a ‘key link’ to unraveling both deaths of Disha and Sushant ‘since it is my strong belief that both these deaths are linked.’

Mumbai Police has declared both Disha’s and Sushant’s mysterious deaths as ‘suicide’.
