Chirag or Tejashwi-Opportunity to young leaders

New Delhi, Oct 8 (UNI) Time will tell whether Chirag Paswan-led Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) emerge ‘factor’ to JD(U)-BJP or Tejashwi Yadav (RJD)lead the Combine with Congress-Left to ‘last Laugh,’in the Bihar Assembly elections commencing October 28,-the polls accord young politicians another opportunity to ‘turn around.’
According to political pandits on Thursday, in the contest with ‘comparatively ageing’ CM Nitish Kumar, though dominated the social media along with BJP, much rides on the impression Chirag or Tejashwi convey on the campaign trail.
Informatively, in 2011,49.2 percent of Bihar’s population was in the 0-19 age-group,many of whom have reached voting age now.
The Election Commission (EC) sources said, the number of First Time Voters (FTV) in Bihar is now 35 lakhs.
“With so many young voters, the elections in Bihar accord young politicians another opportunity to turn around their political fortunes,” the pandits observed.
They also pointed out that-“But, gains will not come on a platter. The apparent ‘insipid’ leadership has shown so far by Chirag or Tejashwi needs a rigorous upgrade.”
Besides October 28, voting for the 243 seats in Bihar will also be held on November 3 and 7.
Counting of the votes will take place on November 10.
