Delhi records 2,509 COVID-19 cases, 19 deaths

New Delhi, Sep 2 (UNI) The National Capital on Wednesday recorded 2,509 fresh cases of COVID-19 and 19 more deaths, as per the latest health bulletin.
With the latest additions, the overall tally reached 1,79,569 while death toll surged to 4,481.
On the brighter side, 1,858 more patients recovered from the virus, taking the recovery rate to 88.31 in percentage and 1,58,586 in numbers.
As per the official data, the active case load increased by 632 to 16,502.
Patients under home isolation have also witnessed a spike of 288, and the figure now stands at 8,407. Containment zones across the city have risen to 894, the bulletin added.
