New Delhi, Oct 7 (UNI) Union Education Minister Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ will inaugurate four Kendriya Vidyalayas and Gyan Circle Ventures Technology Business Incubator at IIIT Sri City in Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh on Thursday through video conferencing.
Minister of State for Education Sanjay Dhotre, Higher Education Secretary Amit Khare, senior officers of
Kendriya Vidyalaya and senior officers of SR City will also be present at this programme.
The Education Minister will inaugurate four Kendriya Vidyalayas, including Nayagarh Kendriya Vidyalaya
(Odisha), Mahuldiha Kendriya Vidyalaya, Rairangpur (Odisha), Hanumangarh Kendriya Vidyalaya (Rajasthan)
and Faridabad Kendriya Vidyalaya (Haryana).
Apart from this, MEITY-funded Technology Business Incubator will also be inaugurated at IIIT Sri City Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh.
The construction of these four schools has cost about Rs 68.60 crore and will benefit about 4,000 students in
Odisha, Haryana and Rajasthan.
IIIT Sri City had launched TBI, Gyan Circle Ventures in 2020 keeping in view entrepreneurship. Knowledge Circle Ventures will act as a Technology Incubation and Development of Entrepreneurs (TIDE 2.0) approved by the Ministry of Information Technology (MEITY). It promotes innovation and entrepreneurship in many disciplines.
A sense of entrepreneurship will be developed here through new technologies like Artificial Intelligence (AI),
Block-Chain, Cyber Physical System (CPS), Cyber Security, Internet of Things (IoT) and Robotics among others.
Knowledge Circle Ventures will become a hub for innovation and startups, providing support through investment, infrastructure and consulting at various stages. TBI will have an advisory committee consisting of leading industrialists, entrepreneurs and technical experts. This will enable Incubate to benefit from expert
consultants and networks from the academic and industry worlds.
Dr Pokhriyal has urged as many people as possible to join this video conferencing so that everyone can know
about the full benefits of these two projects.
