PM Narendra Modi chaired a meeting on August 17 to review the preparations for the national level master plan for providing multi modal connectivity to diverse economic zones.
The meeting was attended by Nirmala Sitharaman, Finance Minister with her deputy Anurag Thakur, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, Railway Minister Piyush Goyal, Shipping Minister Mansukh Mandaviya among others. Also the top officials of the Prime Minister’s office including the Cabinet Secretariat, Sanchar Bhawan as well as the Ministry of Civil Aviation were present, in the virtual meeting.
The Prime Minister said,”This is an important endeavour, that will boost productivity, infrastructure, economic progress and opportunities for our youngsters,”.
