Baramulla, Sep 25 (UNI) A police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) was critically wounded in a road accident in apple township of Sopore in this north Kashmir district on Friday, official sources said.
They said ASI Ghulam Nabi Hajam was seriously injured when a private car, he was travelling in, was hit by an unknown vehicle at Model Sopore.
The injured was immediately rushed to local hospital from where was referred to S K Institute of Medical Science (SKIMS) in a critical condition.
Police has registered a case and launched a massive hunt to trace the vehicle and driver
