New Delhi, Oct 31 (UNI) Remembering and saluting the ‘Iron Man of India’ Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 145th birth anniversary, the Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday said that his steadfast leadership, dedication and contribution to the country never be forgotten.
Taking to twitter, he said, “After independence, he united hundreds of scattered princely states and laid the strong foundation of today’s strong India”.
“Right from unification of the country to reconstruction of Somnath temple Sardar Patel had devoted each moment of his life in awakening the masses of one nation concept”, Mr Shah said in another tweet.
An obliged nation bow down to such a great patriotic man Sardar patel, Mr Shah added in his tweet.
