Students who missed JEE Advanced Exam-2020 can reappear next year

New Delhi, Oct 13 (UNI) The applicants who could not appear for the JEE Advanced Exam this year due to the COVID situation can now directly appear for the same next year. The decision regarding this was taken at IIT Delhi in the meeting of the joint admission board.

According to the statement issued by the IIT Delhi, those students who were not able to appear for the examination this year, will be given a chance to sit in the advance exam next year, without appearing for the JEE main exam.

This step has been taken to give equal oppertunity to all students, the statement said.

Students had been complaining that due to the pandemic situation and the lockdown they were unable to appear for the JEE Advanced exam.
