Chandigarh, Oct 8 (UNI) Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab senior leader and Leader of Opposition Harpal Singh Cheema, extended his whole-hearted support to the ‘Chakka Jam” call given by the Sant Samaj Sangharsh Committee and other SC organizations on October 10 (From 10 am to 1 pm) to buy justice for a large number of poor and dalit students in the state.
He said this while addressing a press conference in Chandigarh here on Thursday. Others who were who were conspicuous by their presence were Kultar Singh Sandhwan, Prof. Baljinder Kaur, Manjit Singh Bilaspur, Master Baldev Singh Jaito, Rupinder Kaur Ruby (All MLAs).

Harpal Singh Cheema said that what could be a more slanderous than the tainted Minister Sadhu Singh Dharamsot, allegedly involved in the multi-crore post matric scholarship scam, was roaming free after allegedly committing a multi-crore scam. He expressed his deep shock that such a Minister, who should have been sacked by now the Chief Minister Amarinder Singh from the Cabinet and sent behind the bars, was being protected by the chief minister.
