Union Home Minister Amit Shah wishes luck to young IPS probationers

New Delhi, Sep 4 (UNI) Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday wished the young 2018 batch IPS probationers luck and hoped that they will serve the nation with utmost dedication while ensuring its security and integrity.

Taking to twitter, Mr Shah said, “My best wishes to all these young IPS officers on their Dikshant Parade. May they serve the nation with utmost dedication while ensuring its security & integrity. I am confident that their commitment towards service will inspire our youngsters to join the Indian Police Service”.

He also said that their interaction with the Prime Minister Narendra Modi today, will boost the morale of our young officers and guide them on how to strengthen the police-public relations.

“PM @NarendraModi interacted with the IPS officers of 71RR (2018 batch) on their Dikshant Parade at the iconic @svpnpahyd via video conferencing. His inspiring speech will surely boost the morale of our young officers & guide them on how to strengthen the police-public relations”, Mr Shah said in his tweet message.

While interacting with the IPS probationers at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy during their Deekshant Parade’ at Hyderabad through video conferencing on September 4,the Prime Minister Modi asked them to be vigilant and always prepared for unexpected things. He also stressed on the need for preventing youth from taking the wrong path at the early stage of life.

Mr Modi also expressed hope that women police personnel can do the same in a better way.
