New Delhi, Oct 3 (UNI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Saturday said the entire country was standing with the family of the Hathras gangrape victim to secure justice for her. In a post on social media after meeting the family of the victim at their home in Boolgarhi village, Mr Gandhi said, ”I met with the family of the Hathras victim and understood their pain. I assured them that we are all standing with them in his hour of crisis and will give them a,l help jn securing justice for their daughter.

”The Uttar Pradesh government will not be able to act in an Arbitrary manner because the whole nation is standing with the daughter of the country to secure justice for her.”

Mr Gandhi, along with Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, visited the family at their home in Boolgarhi village on Saturday.

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath recommended a CBI probe into the case.
