Santiniketan, Sep 28 (UNI) Four Bangladeshi miscreants along with arms and ammunition have been arrested from Bolpur district, as the state police while investigating their motive suspect that the
quartet are the contract killer and had trespassed into Indian territory to eliminate a political personality.
The state police also arrested two local people as linkmen of the Bangladeshi miscreants. The arrest of the six was made during a search operation at Taltore village under Santiniketan police station.
Police are also trying to understand if the quartet and two Indians had any connection with recently held 10 al Qaeda operatives.
The police said all the six arrested would be produced before a local court and seek police custody for further investigation.
