Prime Minister Modi to address the passing out probationers of the IPS at SVPNPA on Sept 4

Hyderabad, Sep 2 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the Passing out probationers of the Indian Police Service (IPS) at the Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA) here on September 4 Through video conferencing .
In a statement here on Wednesday, SVPNPA Director said that 131 Probationers of Indian Police Service of 2018 batch successfully completed their training in SVP NPA and taking out their first step in the service of the nation.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi gracing the occasion as the Chief Guest with his virtual presence and addressing them on their Dikshant Parade scheduled on September 4, the statement said.
The “Passing Out Parade” is a landmark occasion in the life of any IPS Officer. This event marks the conclusion of two years of the Basic Training at the Academy. It is the most spectacular event in NPA for successfully releasing yet another batch of trained IPS Officers to their respective State cadres. This year, it is commanded by Ms. Kiran Shrruti D.V., the Best All-Round Probationer of the Batch.
This batch consists of 121 officers from 71RR (2018 batch) and 10 officers from 70 RR (2017 batch). Out of total 131, 28 are Lady Probationers. As per Academic background goes: 58 per cent are Engineers, 10 percent are with Science background, 23 per cent are with Arts & Commerce and also there are 4 Doctors, the statement added.
