Jammu 27th September, 2021:- The Addl. Director General of Police Jammu Zone, Jammu Shri Mukesh Singh-IPS inaugurated Fitness Corner (Gymnasium) and dedicated these health facilities to the officials of PCR Jammu. He also felicitated six officers and officials of PCR Jammu who were awarded DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificates for their meritorious and exemplary performance.
The ADGP Jammu Zone was accompanied by SSP PCR Jammu Dr.Haseeb Mugal-JKPS , SP APCR Jammu Sh. Shazad Ahmad Salaria-JKPS, Addl. SP PCR Jammu Sh. Hafizullah, and other officials of PCR Jammu
330 policemen work at PCR Jammu performing their duties round the clock and play a pivotal role in assimilation, dissemination and analysis of information on L&O, terrorism and security related issue besides being available to general public for any type of assistance through Dial-100, 112, 1090, 1091 etc. In order to keep them healthy and to encourage good practices, this fitness corner was established at PCR under the Civic Action Programme (CAP).
While interacting with the Policemen at PCR Jammu after the inauguration the ADGP Jammu Zone advised them to take full advantage of the machines which have been installed as the fitness corner and to remain healthy and fit. He said that daily exercise is important for good health and increases the immunity to fight against disease. SSP PCR Jammu thanked the ADGP Jammu Zone Jammu for his support and guidance in this matter.
Later , ADGP Jammu Sh.Mukesh Singh-IPS felicitated six officers and officials of PCR Jammu who were awarded DGP’s Commendation Medal and Certificates for their meritorious and exemplary performances. They are; Sh. Raj Kumar, DYSP, SI Babu Singh, ASI David Masih, ASI(M) Raj Kumar, SGCT Pawan Kumar and SGCT Satinder Singh.
He congratulated the awardees and wished them success in their future endeavor.
