Administration on alert after continue inflow of water raised up the level of Godavari

Aurangabad, Sep 19 (UNI) In view of continues heavy inflow of 57,214 cuses water entering from upstream dams of Nashik and Ahmednagar district into one of biggest dam Jayakwadi at Paithan in district ,irrigation authorities continues discharging 56,692 water in to river downstream.
Dam official sources on Saturday morning stated that ,the dam present maintaining 97.74 per cent live stock with hight of 1521.59 feet .
The continues discharging of excess water in river Godavari results in raising the level of the river which leads to water entered in many villages residing bay of river.
Authorities have already alerted all the villages in Jalna ,Beed,Parbhani and Nanded dustricts residing at bay of river Godavari by the district administration not to venture into the river.
The discharged water will be helpful to filling up numbers of KT weirs which was constructed on river Godavari in downstream as well as useful for Rabi crops.
