COVID-19: 1741 new cases in Marathwada

Aurangabad, Sep 11 (UNI) 1,741 people tested positive for the novel coronavirus across the eight districts of Marathwada region of Maharashtra during the past 24 hours.

As per latest data by health authorities, 32 patients succumbed to the virus during the same period.

Out of the eight districts, Aurangabad was worst affected with 13 deaths and 437 fresh cases, followed by Latur which registered five deaths and 347 new cases, Osmanabad witnessed five deaths and 182 new cases, Beed saw four deaths and 110 new cases, Nanded registered 327 new cases and three deaths, Parbhani had one death and 140 new cases while Jalna had one death and 133 new cases and Hingoli had 65 new cases, the data stated.
