New Delhi, Nov 9 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday greeted the people of Uttarakhand on their Statehood Day. In a tweet in Hindi, the Prime Minister said, ‘Hearty congratulations to the residents of Uttarakhand on the state’s foundation day. Leading on the path of progress, this state, full of natural wealth and natural beauty, continues to touch new heights of development.”
Uttarakhand was formed on this day in 2000 after bifurcating it from Uttar Pradesh.
