Delhi: 3,390 new nCoV cases, recovery rate 88.46 pc

New Delhi,Sep 30 (UNI) The National Capital recorded 3,390 fresh COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, taking the total number of cases to 2,79,715, the State Health bulletin said here on Wednesday.

In the same time, as many as 3,965 patients were discharged, bringing the overall recoveries in Delhi to 2,47,446 , City’s recovery rate now stands at 88.46 per cent, the bulletin said and added that active case load of the city at present stood at 26,908.

Containment zones across the city have now increased to 2,570, while the number of patients presently under home isolation have slightly reduced and stood at 15,657. After 41 more people lost their life to the highly contagious virus, the city’s death toll has increased to 5,361, while the death rate, based on the data of last 10 days, stands at 1.15 per cent, as per the Delhi government.

Till date, a total of 30,79,965 cumulative tests have been conducted in the city.
