New Delhi, Sep 21 (UNI) Keeping in view the COVID-19 situation in the country, the government has given relaxation and allowed the special vehicles supplying oxygen cylinders to move without restrictions and permit till March 31 next year.
The step was taken to ensure the un-interrupted supply of oxygen across the country during the COVID times, a notification issued by the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways said here on Monday.
The Ministry has specifically said that the order will be applicable to only those vehicles that have been designed to transport oxygen cylinders.
The role of oxygen is crucial in the treatment of COVID-19 and therefore, in view of this, the notification has been issued to ensure the continuous supply of oxygen,
