Kolkata, Nov 30 (UNI) Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar today held a series of meetings with a number of people in Darjeeling, chief among them BJP Darjeeling MLA Neeraj Tamang Zimba.
‘Had interaction at Darbar Hall, Raj Bhawan, Darjeeling with a number of delegations. Inputs were extremely informative and indicative of affairs @MamataOfficial,’ Mr Dhankhar tweeted.
The governor is presently in the hill station. ‘The entire month has been an eye-opener. Would do all possible to bring respite to the people,’ he promised. ‘Neeraj Tamang Zimba @NeerajZimba, MLA Darjeeling called me at Raj Bhawan, Darjeeling,’ he said.
‘Got a perspective of situation @MamataOfficial in the area. ‘Functioning #GTA was focus given a lack of transparency and accountability in its working. Assured him of AUDIT #GTA,’ the governor said.
