Bhopal, Sep 27 : Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting L Murugan was on Monday declared elected unopposed to the Rajya Sabha form Madhya Pradesh as a Bharatiya Janata Party candidate in a lone by-election.
The formal announcement was made by Principal Secretary (Assembly) AP Singh on expiration of the 1500 hrs deadline for withdrawal of candidature. Dr Murugan reached the Vidhan Sabha for obtaining the certificate.
