MP CM visits flood-hit district

Bhopal, Sep 2 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan assured on Wednesday that all possible assistance shall be extended to families affected by flooding and excessive precipitation, it was officially learnt.
While interacting with residents of Sehore District’s Somalwara, Bamori, Dehri and Nanbhet; the senior politician averred, “Besides a provision enshrined in the Revenue Book Circular, cultivators will also be helped under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. Apart from wheat, 5 l kerosene shall be supplied to every household in distress.”

The veteran leader visited rescue centres set up in Shahganj and himself distributed food items. Vidisha parliamentarian Ramakant Bhargava, other public representatives and officials were in attendance.
