Drama of morcha & agitations by Congress more dangerous & likely to spread virus: BJP

Panaji, Sep 4 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Goa reacted sharply to the charge of Congress that Chief Minister Pramod Sawant could spread virus through the files being signed by him without gloves, saying there was no need to fear as all the files were sanitised before and after signature.
In a post on Facebook, Goa BJP spokesperson Dattaprasad Naik said, ” Bhivpachi Garaz Na Girish Chodankar. All files are sanitised before and after. The Natak of morcha and agitations by your team is more dangerous and likely to spread the virus.”
The statement of the BJP state unit spokesperson came after Congress termed release of a photo of Chief Minister Pramod Sawant working from his home as a photo opportunity and accused the Chief Minister of spreading virus through the files as they were handled without using gloves.
State Health Minister Vishwajit Rane also claimed that the files signed by the Chief Minister were sent after sanitising them.
Earlier in the day Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) had released a photo in which Chief Minister Pramod Sawant was seen clearing files.
”As stated, Chief Minister @DrPramodPSawant continues to discharge his duties,” the CMO said in a tweet.
Dr Sawant has opted for home isolation after testing postive for COVID-19 (Asymptomtic).
