PM to address concluding session of 80th All India Presiding Officers Conference on Nov 26

New Delhi, Nov 24 (UNI) Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the concluding session of 80th All India Presiding Officers Conference on November 26 at 1230 hrs via video conferencing.

The All India Presiding Officers Conference began in 1921. This year is also being celebrated as the centenary year of the Presiding Officers Conference. To celebrate the centenary year, the two day Conference is being held in Kevadia, Gujarat on November 25-26, the Prime Minister’s Office said in a statement here on Tuesday.

The Theme for this year’s Conference is ‘Harmonious Coordination between Legislature, Executive and Judiciary- Key to a Vibrant Democracy’.

The Conference will be inaugurated by President Ram Nath Kovind on November 25. The Conference will also be attended by Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman M Venkaiah Naidu, Lok Sabha Speaker and Chairperson of the Conference Om Birla, Gujarat Governor Acharya Devvrat, Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and other dignitaries.
