Pranab Mukherjee, former president health condition worsens on Wednesday as he has developed infection in lungs, informed Indian Army’s Research and Referral Hospital .The hospital in New Delhi Cantonment area also added that Mukherjee continues to be on ventilatory support and was being monitored by a team of experts.
“There has been a decline in the medical condition of Hon’ble Shri Pranab Mukherjee as he has developed features of lung infection. He continues to be on ventilatory support and is currently being managed by a team of specialists,” stated hospital statement.
Abhijit Mukherjee, Pranab Mukherjee’s son said earlier that his father’s health condition was stable and his vital parameters continued to remain under control.
“With All Your good wishes & sincere efforts of the Doctors , my father is stable now ! His vital parameters continue to remain under control & manageable ! Positive signs of his improvement is noticed ! I request you all to pray for His speedy recovery !Folded hands,” tweeted son of former president, Abijit.
84, Mukherjee was admitted to the hospital on 10th August and where he went through a brain surgery to remove clot from his brain. He was also tested Covid-19 positive.
Veteran politican, Pranab Mukherjee has served India as President in span of 2012 – 2017.
