President Ram Nath Kovind pays tribute to Paswan

New Delhi, Oct 9 (UNI) President Ram Nath Kovind on Friday visited the official residence of late Union Food Supply and Consumer Affairs minister Ram Vilas Paswan by offering floral tribute.

Seventy-four-year-old Paswan passed away after illness late on Thursday evening after undergoing a heart operation five days ago.

Mr Kovind reached 12 Janpath, Paswan’s official, residence at around 1030 hrs and paid floral tribute to the mortal remains.

Earlier, the Prime Minister paid tribute at the Union Minister’s residence. Mr Modi was accompanied by Bharatiya Janata (BJP) President J P Nadda.
