New Delhi, Sep 15 (UNI) Railways has announced it will run 20 pairs of clone trains from September 21 on routes where due to high demand a large number of passengers have tickets on the waiting list and are unable to travel.
Railways said on Tuesday that Humsafar coaches will be used in 19 pairs of trains. Their fare will also be on the lines of Humsafar coaches. The fare of clone train 04251/04252 running between Lucknow and Delhi will be equal to Jan Shatabdi.
Booking of cloned trains will start from September 19 for the trains which will run from September 21. Passengers will be able to book 10 days in advance. This train is being run in addition to 230 special trains run earlier. In special trains where a large number of people are not getting confirmed tickets, clone trains are being brought on those routes.
